The OCSU deals extensively with the governments of the cities of Salmon Arm, Penticton, and Kelowna. As you probably know, the transit infrastructure in the Okanagan Valley is not what it might be. The OCSU is working with these municipal governments to improve the transit system.
Another issue Your Students' Union deals with at the Municipal level is affordable housing. Since tuition fees at Okanagan College are the highest of any college in BC, which puts them in the running for highest in the country, the high rents here in the Okanagan Valley are especially difficult for students.
